Launching Fall 2026, Pathways at Overland is a stand-alone college and career preparedness facility located on the Overland HS campus that is accessible for high school students in the Cherry Creek Schools. With curriculum rooted in real-world skills and trade certifications ranging from criminal justice and law to health sciences, this facility offers students a new kind of bridge to college and viable, successful careers.

CCIC is a nationally and globally recognized career and college focused campus that provides transformational experiences for high school students in 10th through 12th grades throughout the Cherry Creek School District. Originally built in 2019, the CCIC currently serves nearly 1800 high school students from across the district. With full enrollment across all current seven pathways, the CCIC is expanding to serve 70% more students across a range of exciting, high-demand career pathways, including a 500-person event center.

Combining them into one new elementary schools provides an opportunity to provide state-of-the-art spaces and 21st Century learning to meet student needs today and into the future.

Laredo Middle School is the second oldest middle school in the Cherry Creek School District. Originally constructed in 1974, the current building has aged out of its useful life in terms of meeting the programmatic and student needs of today. The new school will have a larger footprint to support today’s educational needs, including specialized programs, brighter, flexible, and innovative learning spaces, and improve traffic flow and pedestrian safety around the school.

The 2024 Bond is funding capital construction improvements across the district, with many of the projects underway. One of the major renovations will be the expansion of Eaglecrest High School’s existing cafeteria by approximately 1,000 square feet to increase seating capacity, improve accessibility, and provide outdoor seating options. The serving area will be upgraded with a state of the art serving line and expanded to include an additional line, improving flow and reducing student wait times.
In addition, new turf fields will be installed on the baseball and softball fields. Both the running track surface and walking path will be replaced. The pool will receive a new filtration system and the pool bleachers will be replaced. The pool locker rooms will be renovated to provide modern shower amenities and replace the old, damaged lockers.
Other upgrades to the high school include replacement of major rooftop mechanical equipment, replacement of the main electrical service, and painting throughout the building.

The Cherry Creek PreK-12 Campus bond project is a multi-year process to replace aging and deteriorating buildings on the Cherry Creek Campus, starting with Cherry Creek High School in Phase I. The campus, encompassing Cherry Creek HS, Campus MS, and Belleview ES, is home to some of the oldest buildings in the district, including the West Building on the campus of Cherry Creek HS which was built in 1955. In recent years, buildings on the campus have been challenged with aging infrastructure, specifically the West Building, which will be the primary focus of Phase I.
Phase I will begin with the demolition of the two district administrative office buildings on the site in order to make room for the new West Building. The existing West Building will be replaced with two new buildings—one dedicated to academics and the other to athletics. Phase I will also include redeveloped parking areas and a primary vehicular entry to campus from Union Avenue. The current parking lot west of the Stutler Bowl will become a parking lot for the high school.

One of the bigger projects in the 2024 Bond is the construction of a new Holly Hills Elementary School, which will accommodate both Holly Ridge (PreK-2 grades) and Holly Hills (3-5 grades) into one PreK-5 elementary school. Holly Hills and Holly Ridge are two of the oldest schools in the district, built in 1958 and 1962 respectively. Combining them into one new elementary schools provides an opportunity to provide state-of-the-art spaces and 21st Century learning to meet student needs today and into the future.
